What Kind of Exercises Should a Teen Perform

Exercise is a vast term encompassing various routines and methods each targeting different aspects of a healthy body: strength, flexibility, endurance, and agility. Amongst all of these what kind of exercises should a teen perform and what exercises should a teen avoid?

A teen, according to Dr. Deepak Gandhi, can do any exercisethey enjoy, preferably targeting all aspects mentioned earlierthrough different exercises during a week. But the problem arises when this exercise is taken to the extreme. Regular running, jumping, weightlifting, etc. are all great for teen muscle growth and strength conditioning, but when you take the same activities to the extreme like heavy weightlifting, or extreme jumping they can negatively affect the body. So, the next time you are pondering about which exercises you should include in your routine, remember to target all aspects of a healthy routine, while also not taking any particular exercise to its extreme.
