Staying Fit During Exam Season with lift like teens

Staying Fit During Exam Season with lift like teens

As exam season rolls around every few months, I have often found myself stuck at home for long periods of time with nothing to do, other than just study. During these stressful times, staying fit remains crucial, but with your parents telling you to sit at home and study, and your large syllabus making you reconsider each minute you waste, the exercise of any form seems undoable.

So here are some of my tips to keep fit during exam season

1) Can’t get out of the house? Start performing bodyweight exercises indoors.

Bodyweight exercises do not require any sort of equipment. They can be done in short intervals of time, and need only your body weight to give you a short and successful workout.

2) Ditch the phone, and exercise during breaks

This is a difficult one to implement, and I personally have never been able to stick with it for long. But the way it goes is every time you take those 10-15 minute breaks, don’t touch your phone and doomscroll, but instead start exercising, this will make you feel so much better when you go back to studying and will give you a quick boost of energy to keep fighting through.

3) Walk and learn

This trick works only for certain study methods and material, but basically, you walk as you read through something and try to learn it. For some people, this may happen automatically as they pace around the house with their books, but for those of you for whom this doesn’t, getting up and walking around can help you break those sedentary study sessions.

These are just some of the tips that I follow or try to follow every time my exams are around the corner. So, give these a try, figure out which ones work for you, and then implement themduring your next exam.
